Rely on data integration services from the AM GmbH for a flexible and future-proof IT architecture. We support you from analysis and planning through implementation to operation of your new solution for better data integration. We also connect your systems for greater efficiency and transparency within your company.

Your Goal: Smooth Processes Through Integrated Data

In 71% of German companies, applications and IT systems are completely or largely isolated from each other! (Source, German) This leads to inefficient processes and prevents well-integrated data. Our data integration services create a uniform, consistent data landscape, independent of technologies or manufacturers.

  • Replacement of data islands with an open, scalable architecture
  • Consolidation of interfaces in a central platform for smooth processes
  • Real-time data flows that keep your IT systems up to date
  • Reliable and sustainable integration of your systems

Application Integration

IT systems and applications are connected via customised API interfaces. We rely on established and modern technologies to ensure structured connectivity between internal and external services. The AM GmbH's API integrations are scalable and future-proof, ensuring that data flows within your company remain flexible.

Data Availability

We ensure that business-critical data is available wherever it is needed at all times. To do this, we connect your systems so that changes are synchronised automatically and without delay. Our integration solutions ensure excellent data availability in your company. This means your teams can always access the right information.

Real-time Events For Systems

With event-based IT architecture, your systems respond in real time when it matters. Whether in sales, logistics or production, relevant events are recorded in real time, processed and forwarded to the right places. This ensures shorter response times and smooth processes in your company.

Data Migration & Transformation

With us, your data will be back in motion, securely, quickly and in a structured manner! Whether large amounts of data from legacy systems or complex data structures from various sources: our data migration includes the necessary transformation. The result is data that fits perfectly into your target system.

Consulting & Scoping

Comprehensive consulting and the selection of suitable technologies are our top priorities. In scoping workshops, we analyse your IT systems, processes, business objectives and other requirements. Based on this, we develop an integration strategy that is technically sound and future-proof.

Architecture & Implementation

We design a scalable and technology-neutral architecture that takes your business objectives, compliance requirements and technical constraints into account. We then implement the solution iteratively, connect applications via APIs or events, establish monitoring and use testing and documentation to ensure that your integration is stable, expandable and future-proof.

Go-live & Operation

We support the launch of your integration solution with comprehensive testing to ensure a smooth transition to live operation. Through proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting and regular optimisation, we keep your data flows stable and always up to date. This ensures that your integration architecture remains powerful and expandable in the long term.

FAQ About Data Integration Services

Many companies still work with isolated IT systems, which leads to data silos with redundant information and inefficient processes. In fact, according to a 2024 Lünendonk study, only 29% of companies have data integration, while 71% continue to struggle with their data silos. (Source/PDF, German)

Another problem is that although many companies use numerous applications, these are rarely connected to each other. If only a few business applications are integrated, this makes end-to-end data processing almost impossible.

Isolated IT systems have a significant impact on efficiency and the continuation of successful digitalisation. According to MuleSoft Connectivity Benchmark 2025, an impressive 95% of IT managers say that integration problems limit their ability to innovate. (Source)

In addition, according to a survey by Salesforce Germany, 92% of German companies see data silos as one of the biggest obstacles to digital transformation. The need is great, but companies are reluctant to invest in the future viability of their own IT structures. One current consequence of this reluctance is that AI applications often cannot be easily integrated into existing IT systems: Unfortunately, 60% of German companies still consider their existing data landscape to be insufficiently harmonised to make meaningful use of AI. (Source, German)

Today, companies around the world are working with a rapidly growing and increasingly complex IT landscape. On average, companies use 897 applications according to the MuleSoft Connectivity Benchmark. This enormously high number can be explained by the fact that it includes not only classic business software such as ERP, CRM and HR systems, but also numerous cloud services, specialist applications, in-house developments, interfaces, automations and legacy systems that have grown over time throughout the entire corporate network. (Source)

When it comes to integration, by no means all applications used need to be reconsidered and integrated. Data integration services focus on strategically important data and its standardisation within the corporate network. This makes it all the more alarming to realise that only a fraction of these applications are connected to each other in companies. Only 2% of the companies surveyed integrate more than half of their own software, which means that data breaches and manual work remain the order of the day. (Source

Poor data quality arises in isolated IT systems primarily because information has to be maintained multiple times and in different applications. This automatically results in duplicate and possibly contradictory or even outdated data records. Processes without automated and tested integration still require manual exports, usually in the form of Excel lists or copy-paste behaviour. This is a frequent source of errors that quickly renders data unreliable. Data silos are increasingly considered a strategic risk.

Another problem is that each application uses its own structures, formats and rules. Without a central plan, information from different systems quickly becomes incompatible, leading to inconsistencies. Synchronisation between IT systems also poses a risk: comparisons are often delayed or not carried out at all, resulting in discrepancies in orders, customer data or stock levels. You can imagine the dissatisfaction this causes.

A lack of monitoring and inconsistent governance exacerbate the problems. Errors are not detected and corrections are not made centrally. Older systems in particular, which are not designed for modern data processing, exacerbate these quality losses. According to the Salesforce Report 2025 ‘State of Data and Analytics’, 84% of IT executives now see data cleansing as a critical success factor for AI projects. However, many companies do not yet have a centralised data architecture that enables this. (Source, German)
