HANDWERKinnovativ offers a digital platform for craft enterprises and product manufacturers. The goal is to make Germany's crafts smarter and to better connect craftsmen with each other. Hi. is a digital hub for easy access to information and applications and provides a direct link between industry and the skilled trades.
The Success Story
By using the headless CMS Strapi, we have built a flexible, highly scalable and technically modern platform with microservice architecture that scores with high usability and adaptability.
On the platform, users and companies can register independently in just a few steps through a clear registration process. After registration, various self-service options are available to users and users can administer their accounts.
Partner companies can present their own tools and news on the platform. Users and companies also have the option of subscribing to other companies in order to keep up to date with updates on tools and news from the respective companies.
Through a user-friendly and high-performance search function, the platform offers tradespeople the opportunity to search specifically for topics or industry-specific news and digital products.
The UI/UX concept for Hi. was continually adapted during development. As a result, the user experience and usability of the site could be specifically optimised during the development process.
Over time, this developed into a comprehensive, clickable HTML prototype, which was iteratively developed further together with the client.
A clickable prototype made the individual functions of the platform tangible in advance and geared them towards an optimal user experience. Among other things, this also included keeping the entry barriers for new users as low as possible during registration.
In addition, different user groups can quickly find their way around on desktop and mobile devices thanks to a mobile-first approach and appealing visuals.
